We need someone quicker, smoother, cooler, fresher — you know, BOLDER.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
The Bookkeeper, aka you, will oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You need a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and unmatched organization skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
- Month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Other administrative tasks to support the overall operations of the company
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Preferred: CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
