Job Description

R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Production Mechanic or Maintenance Mechanic in Newark, DE.

Your main responsibilities as a Production Mechanic or Maintenance Mechanic:

Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on equipment in the assigned areas including inspections, general maintenance, and scheduled overhauls.

Use analytical troubleshooting skills to recognize system and equipment problems, identify true cause, and recommend/ implement solutions that prevent problem reoccurrence.

Perform mechanical and electrical equipment repairs in the assigned area including set-up/change-overs, routine adjustments, and fabrication.

Work with area leaders, operators, engineers, and mechanics to identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment/production efficiencies.

Participate in cross-functional teams as assigned to support continuous improvement or equipment installation or modification.

What we are looking for in a Production Mechanic or Maintenance Mechanic:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Minimum three (3) years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience

Must be able to work or be on-call as needed during other/off shifts and weekends when facility, production, or equipment maintenance coverage is needed.

Completion of a state accredited Journeyman or technical school program, or equivalent formal education and field experience

State accredited Journeyman

Pay Scale:

$55,061 - $68,841 ( Dependent on Experience)
