Overview of the Program

This Engineering Harris Products Group Development Program is an ideal entry point to the vast opportunities available to you within the organization. Completing this development program will help you gain in-depth knowledge about Harris Products Group's solutions which include brazing, soldering, welding, cutting and specialty gas equipment. Each of these provides a unique and viable career path. This Engineering Development Program will provide meaningful experiences that will build upon your education. This position will challenge your engineering skills and provide an opportunity to grow your engineering career.

You will participate in an orientation at our world headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Our comprehensive training program will continue at the Mason, Ohio Harris Products Group headquarters.

Potential Projects

  • Collaborate with R&D Engineers to support new product development.
  • Review product design for better processes in a world-class manufacturing environment.
  • Develop manufacturing processes to create new products.
  • Analyze and improve the quality and production of global products.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers on capital projects & production support.
  • Work with R&D to improve the design of products for manufacturing.
  • Select, Specify, and implement equipment for improving products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering by June 2026.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An engineering degree in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial, or Material Science.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Desire to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
