The ideal Lead Cook candidate is a culinary professional with a passion for elevated, high‑quality culinary experiences. They bring a minimum of two years of restaurant experience, preferably within high-end or fine dining environments, and have at least one year in a leadership or supervisory role.
This individual thrives in a premium, guest‑focused setting and understands the importance of consistency, presentation, and refined service. They are flexible, dependable, and able to work independently, supporting the daily culinary operations of this new, private club experience.
Full-Time
Pay Rate: $23.14 per hour
Shift Pattern: PM including weekends and holidays
What will I be doing?
As a Lead Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare and execute elevated, high-quality dishes in alignment with The Club’s premium dining standards
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in all food production.
Support and guide culinary team members, providing direction, training, and oversight during service.
Maintain exceptional food presentation and quality, ensuring all menu items meet brand expectations.
Coordinate with leadership and service teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow.
Manage prep lists, production schedules, and station organization to maximize efficiency.
Monitor food inventory levels, assist with ordering, and reduce waste through proper rotation and storage.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling, labeling, and cleanliness of all food areas.
Work independently when required, demonstrating strong decision-making and time‑management skills.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
