Senior Site Reliability Engineer - On-Prem Focus
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Senior SRE in the Cincinnati area for an onsite role to support and enhance our on-premises infrastructure ecosystem. This role centers around managing Kubernetes clusters using Rancher, automating configuration with Ansible, and ensuring reliability across self-managed environments. You'll also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Skills and Requirements
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or DevSecOpsStrong experience with on-prem Kubernetes, specifically Rancher
Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
Ability to troubleshoot cluster-level and node-level issues in on-prem environments
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, or CircleCI (any)
Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical efforts
