Job Description

A route driver's primary responsibility is to deliver and/or pick up goods along a designated route, often involving multiple stops and interactions with customers. They are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of items, which may include loading, unloading, and ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Transporting goods between locations, making multiple stops, and ensuring timely delivery
• Fill/service vending machines daily/weekly, check expiration dates & clean machines as needed
• Operating a company vehicle safely, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained
• Tracking inventory, maintaining accurate records of deliveries & inventory
• Interacting with customers, addressing their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used during service calls

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
• Able to work in inclement weather
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $15-16 an hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
