Operations/Maintenance Associate

A local manufacturing company has an opportunity available for an Operations/Maintenance Associate who will maintain efficient and smooth operations at the facility. This is a first shift position.

Job Duties:**

• Ensure assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use
• Inspect machines when they arrive back to the facility, document any noticeable damage, complete customer damage report, and email to the appropriate team members
• Inspect and complete all return estimates for future repairs, look up part numbers in the machine manual, and cost associated with the part orders found during inspection
• Maintain physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
• Receive, manage, and process work order requests and ensure problems are resolved quickly
• Complete small building repairs, work with our local contractors to gather estimates, and schedule any work needed at our facilities
• Assist with keeping our facilities clean and free of any potential safety hazards at all times
• Work with the Operations Manager to schedule and track yard projects
• Perform other office duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• **Must have Heavy Machinery experience and at least 2 years mechanical and shop environment experience is preferred
• **Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs
• Must have excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task, manage your time efficiently, and finish all projects on time
• Must have the ability to perform well and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, bend, lift, stretch, climb and crawl to maintain equipment and building, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform work in a variety of weather conditions
