We’re seeking a Behavior Support Consultant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is experienced, professional, and passionate about helping individuals reach their highest potential through positive behavior support and data-driven strategies.

Position Summary

The Behavior Support Consultant assists with behavioral assessments, program development, and training to support individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges. Working under the supervision of a BCBA or clinical director, this role collaborates with families, caregivers, and support teams to implement effective interventions and promote skill development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior support plans (BSPs).
• Provides direct and indirect behavioral support in home, school, and community settings.
• Assists in training and supporting caregivers, staff, and RBTs on behavior interventions and data collection procedures.
• Monitors client progress and works to ensure treatment fidelity and effectiveness.
• Maintains accurate documentation and data per organizational, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote consistent, person-centered support.
• Upholds ethical and professional standards outlined by the BACB and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in ABA or as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (preferred)
• Experienced in implementing behavior support plans.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (required).
• Active RBT credential or experience under BCBA supervision (preferred but not required).

Schedule

• Monday to Friday (some flexibility based on client needs).
• Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for family training or consultations.

Work Setting

• In-person (home, community, and/or clinic-based services).
• Travel between client sites is required.
