Fiscal Coordinator

The role of the Fiscal Coordinator is both challenging and exciting. To achieve the responsibilities of the Fiscal Coordinator you must possess and demonstrate:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain financial and statistical records by posting transactions to journals and ledgers (manual and

- Prepare accounting system documents (e.g. vouchers, encumbrances, warrants, transfers, and checks) for

- Prepare ledger entries, original entries, reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Computes obligations, collects, and verifies supporting documentation and approvals for payables.
- Compute accounts receivables, calculate assessments, prepares collection letters, track status and transfers
- Receive revenue payments and maintain accurate records of monies received.
- Provide assistance in writing grants for additional funding.
- Prepare fiscal reports for all grants.
- Provide annual inventory reports for designated area.

- Provide assistance with indigent attorney billing and payment.
- Point of contact for Gov Deals.
- Point of contact for ordering supplies and equipment.
- Answer financial inquiries from the public or court staff.
- Perform clerical functions.
- Supervise and train other clerical staff.
WORKING CONDITIONS/CONDUCT
- Will work inside office or other areas assigned by the Appointing Authority.
- Will make multiple trips to the Administration Building via walking or by vehicle.
- Employee shall abide by all rules and regulations in the Personnel Policy Manual.
- Employee must not contribute to or create a hostile work environment; employee must refrain from gossip
- An essential function of this position, the employee must be able to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily
- Sit for extended periods of time; frequently stand and walk or otherwise move within the court; normal
- Tolerate exposure to defendants and other members of the public who may potentially be verbally or
- Complete annual Common Pleas Court required training hours.
- Must be clean and neat with acceptable hygiene standards and must adhere to dress code policy.

- Associate Degree in Accounting (or a closely related field) or one year of bookkeeping or general accounting
