Shipping Coordinator

Job Description: As a Shipping Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to oversee and manage the DC orders requirements on a daily basis. You will play a crucial role in managing the Routing needs and supporting the floor personnel, ensuring that they adhere to established processes and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for communication of order issues as a supporting role to the DC Manager and/or Corporate Order Manager. Reporting deficiencies and providing necessary information to senior management will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure all order meet the required daily deadline of shipping in the system, as well as manifested in all systems

- Determining if Orders have issues, supporting and/or escalating to achieve a corrective action

- Ensure that all systematic warehouse processes and procedures are followed by the staff, maintaining accountability and efficiency.

- Order support to all outbound logistics process, including order picking, order replenishment, parcel packing, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate delivery to include all routing needs to support orders.

- Collaborate with other departments to meet operational goals and address any issues. To include escalation to order manager as needed.

- Partners with Inventory coordinator on organized working environment, adhering to safety regulations.

- Analyze warehouse data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure productivity and identify areas for optimization.

Qualifications:

·Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations, processes, and best practices.

· Strong leadership and people management skills, ability to motivate and develop a team.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

· Effective communication as the liaise with floor personnel, senior management, and other departments.

· Knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems, with experience using WMS software.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
