Electromechanical Solder Equipment Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Batavia, OH
Pay: Starting at $16.50/hr and up, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:45 AM
Off Every Friday!

Position Summary:

QuickPro Staffing is hiring a skilled Electromechanical Solder Equipment Operator for a leading electronics manufacturer. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain soldering equipment used in electronic circuit board assembly. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate electromechanical soldering equipment used in printed circuit board assembly

• Set up and verify multiple production jobs using computer-generated setup sheets

• Program soldering machines according to IPC-A-610 acceptability standards

• Monitor assembly processes and notify support teams of any required corrective actions

• Communicate technical data, errors, and malfunctions to the solder lead and machine support staff

• Perform light equipment maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting as needed

• Maintain accurate records and ensure products meet established quality standards

• Demonstrate initiative and dependability in all assigned tasks

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years operating electromechanical or CNC-type equipment

• Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and setup instructions

  • Experience with electronic assembly equipment such as pick-and-place, wave soldering, or water wash systems preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment

• Prolonged standing and manual handling of materials required

• Frequent communication and coordination with other team members
