Evendale -Bench Repair Parts - 2nd Shift
- Layout and Rework: Restore aircraft gas turbine parts or assemblies to specified dimensions based on blueprints, sketches, and written or verbal instructions.
- Machining Operations: Operate a variety of machine tools, including mills, drill presses, surface and hand grinders, and saws.
- Repair and Modification: Perform rework tasks such as dimensional adjustments, re-tapping holes, repairing minor defects (e.g., nicks), and installing new studs or inserts.
- Tool Utilization: Use a diverse range of hand tools to complete repair and assembly tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and adhere to all safety and quality standards.
- Additional Duties: Support related tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience with drill presses, grinders (hand and surface), saws, and general part repair.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and machining equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and repairing components.
