**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator where you will mold, assemble, and package products by utilizing your knowledge of material characteristics, methods, and precision instruments. You will work with a team in a rotation, spending 2 hours and 30 minutes on each task. The responsibilities include loading parts into a machine, robotic welding, and basic assembly. All machines are automated to ease your work process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load parts into a machine and count the amount of material to be used each time.
+ Operate robotic welding machines by loading the machine and pressing a button.
+ Perform basic assembly tasks, similar to following simple instructions from a furniture assembly guide.
+ Read work orders and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations.
+ Ensure final products meet customer specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
+ Ability to read and interpret work orders and related documentation.
+ Mechanically inclined with experience in general labor, assembly, and packaging.
+ Stable work history with no frequent job changes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Physical capability to stand, use hands, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
+ Good vision abilities including depth perception, peripheral vision, and color vision.
+ Ability to move large loads with assistance from equipment or a second person.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is occasionally noisy and may contain mechanical hazards. Eye protection, safety shoes, and waist-to-floor coverage are required. Work conditions include exposure to dust and chemicals. The area is heated with temperatures varying based on the season. The 2nd shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with potential overtime up to 12 hours a week. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, WI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $31.73 - $35.07/hr.
