Position Title: SAP Application Developer III

Position Location: 1 South Main Street, New Bremen, OH 45869

Remote work available but must work at worksite location 20% of the time.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and develop computer applications, systems and related procedures for the SAP environment. Prepare program specifications, encode, test, and debug computer applications. Design, code, test, debug, install, document and maintain computer applications. Interface with users to extract functional needs and determine requirements. Conduct detailed systems analysis to define scope and objectives and design solutions. Create documentation according to internal standards. Provide training as needed. Establish project plans and schedules, identify staffing and resource requirements, and monitor progress providing status reports as required. Oversee the design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation activities of project staff. Provide training to users and knowledge transfer to Support personnel and other staff members as required. Prepare system and programming documentation in accordance with internal standards. Ensure procedures are thoroughly tested before release. Write reports of test results. Detect, define and debug programs whenever problems arise. Assist with system testing. Code, test, debug and document more-complex programs and enhance existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user needs. Responsible for peer code review process.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Experience Requirements: 5 years of progressive experience as an SAP Application Developer, SAP ABAP Developer, SAP Technology Lead, Software Developer, or related role.

Special Skills or Other Requirements: Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:

1) Full life cycle SAP implementations including a large full life cycle Global SAP implementation project;

2) Designing and architecting a net new full cycle;

3) SAP implementation including gap analysis, assessment, and road mapping while supporting an existing system; and

4) 5 years of experience with ABAP in SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI, and CO) in SAP solutions (ECC, GTS, and SCM) with development in all areas of ABAP including WRICEF, customization, and enhancements of SAP ABAP, WDA, Adobe Forms, Report, and Enterprise Portal.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
