Landscape Construction Team Lead
Responsibilities Supervise and work alongside a 2–3 person team to safely and efficiently install high-quality landscape projects.
Lead the installation of landscape beds, patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, outdoor living areas, and fiberglass pools.
Operate landscape construction equipment, including excavators, skid steers, saws, grinders, laser levels, and hand tools.
Coordinate daily activities and project updates with the Manager.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles and equipment.
Accurately track job progress and hours using LMN (Landscape Management Software).
Requirements
Ability to work 40–50 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
Previous experience in landscape installation and supervising crews.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Skilled in working with natural stone and man-made stone/pavers for patios, walls, and outdoor living areas.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be insurable under company policy).
Availability for snow removal operations during the winter season.
Experience using LMN or other mobile time tracking applications (preferred).
Typical Day
Clean and inspect all equipment at the start and end of the day.
Ensure shop area is organized and clean after work completion.
Load trucks with the appropriate tools and materials for the day’s work.
Confirm trucks and equipment are fueled and ready.
Review daily schedule and assignments.
Lead team members to job sites and ensure efficient, timely work.
Manage any route adjustments, site changes, or issues; report to supervisor as needed.
Maintain a clean, professional image for equipment, vehicles, and team members.
