Our in-home child care program provides individualized attention, hands-on learning experiences, and a strong focus on emotional and social development. We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate In-Home Child Care Teacher to join our small but mighty team!

Position Summary:
The In-Home Child Care Teacher will plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of each child. This position takes place in a home-based setting, emphasizing a warm, family-oriented atmosphere where children can thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and lead daily educational activities, play-based learning, and outdoor time.
• Support developmental milestones and observe each child’s growth and progress.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing updates and feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with state licensing regulations.
• Model positive behavior, empathy, and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Must meet Ohio licensing requirements for in-home child care providers.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed child care or educational setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A genuine love for children and commitment to early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field).
• Experience with curriculum planning or developmental assessments.
