Hourly pay range $26-27

Job Responsibilities

• As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting a smooth and efficient manufacturing operation by delivering employment support for Hourly Bargaining Unit (HBU) employees.
• Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive employee experience and a productive workplace culture.
• Administer hourly employment office functions, including workforce analysis, deployment, and people power management in alignment with contractual obligations and corporate policies.
• Manage daily employment window activities such as leave tracking, reinstatements, employee inquiries, and records management.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation sessions for HBU employees.
• Support the implementation and execution of lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Promote a positive workplace culture by driving employee engagement initiatives at the plant level.
• Assist in the administration of national and local collective bargaining agreements.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree
• Manufacturing exp (1 year)
• Union exp
• HR exp (1 year)
• Prior experience in Employment, Labor Relations, or Manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools, especially in the context of employee development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
• Proven ability to manage conflict and conduct difficult conversations professionally.
• Demonstrated approachability and effective communication across all employee levels.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
