Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of cardiac step-down experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Cardiac patient population including open heart recovery, step-down, and telemetry cardiac cases
• Experience with cardiac drips, heart cath recovery, post-op open heart patients, and med-surg step-down patients
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required, subject to change based on census and staffing
• One holiday coverage shift required, subject to change
• Floating to other units may be required during low census or coverage needs
• On-call is not required, though rare call days may be requested during fluctuating census or staffing
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of cardiac step-down nursing experience required
• Experience with open heart recovery patients required
• Experience with mechanical ventilators (vents) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of submission to be honored
