You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of animals at our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding, walking, bathing and cleaning up after animals
• Monitor dog daycare in a safe and engaging atmosphere for the participants
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care preferred (but not required)
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Ability to follow established training guidelines on a daily basis
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort (in Grandview Heights area of Columbus Ohio) is the staffing hospital that also staffs Olentangy Premier Pet Care in Powell, Ohio (northern greater Columbus area). We focus on developing client relationships through transparency and education.
