Custodian
Job Overview:
Chryslerâs Parts Distribution Center is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. As a custodian, you'll play a key role in supporting operations by keeping our facility clean, organized, and ready for daily activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
Remove trash and recycling materials from designated areas
Clean windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces
Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report needs to supervisor
Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience is a plus but not required
Ability to operate cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Must be reliable and punctual
