We are is seeking dependable and hardworking Mitigation Technician to join a restoration team basic out of Medina, Oh. This position is responsible for performing demolition and tear-out work in residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, or mold. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
1st shift $17/hr. Key Responsibilities:Perform demolition/tear-out of affected materials (drywall, flooring, cabinets, insulation, etc.) following company and industry guidelines. Assist with water extraction, drying, and cleaning as needed.
Properly bag, remove, and dispose of debris.
Set up containment areas and maintain a clean, organized job site.
Follow safety protocols, including the use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
Provide excellent customer service while working in clients homes or businesses.
Assist team members with additional restoration tasks as assigned. Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction, demolition, restoration, or related field preferred (will train the right candidate).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfort with using hand tools and power tools.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Valid drivers license with reliable transportation.
