Scrum Master
**On Site in Cincinnati, Ohio**
Banking institution with over 150 years of operation and offerings in commercial & consumer banking across 12 states
Rate: $65-$75/hr W2

Responsibilities:- Solid understanding of the Scrum Framework and principles of agility
- Understanding of how to build high-performing teams that utilize inspect-and-adapt loops to continuously learn and improve
- Ability to use empirical data collection to benefit the team and the organization
- Strong critical and creative problem‑solving skills
- Able to present, teach, mentor, and facilitate at multiple levels of the organization, particularly within a team environment
- Collaborates effectively with team members; values team success over individual success
- Committed to continuous learning in Agile, Scrum, coaching, facilitation, emotional intelligence, team dynamics, and listening
- Understanding of all software lifecycle development disciplines:
- Project Management
- Requirements Management
- Analysis & Design
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Implementation
- Deployment
- Configuration & Change Management
- Working knowledge of practices that support agility (CI, CD, TDD, automated TDD, etc.)
- Working knowledge of other Agile frameworks and ways of working (Kanban, Scrumban, XP, Mob Programming, etc.)
- Understanding of priorities and goal setting for teams and organizations in an agile business environment
- Strong leadership skills, including leading by example as a servant leader and modeling agile mindset shifts
- Ability to apply multiple approaches to removing Agile Squad impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistics, coordination with other squads/teams)
- Escalates impediments to appropriate organizational entities when necessary
- Facilitates communication, cooperation, and collaboration inside and outside the Agile Squad, including with the Agile Center
- Works to improve the effectiveness of all Agile Squad roles
- Shields the Agile Squad from external requests and interference to maintain productivity
- Fosters self‑organization, learning, and growth within the Agile Squad
- Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear
- 5+ years of full-time business experience
- 3+ years of Scrum experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills; experienced in presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating at multiple organizational levels, particularly within team environments
- Experience communicating and removing impediments outside the team
- Coaching skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
- Ability to resolve interpersonal and organizational conflicts; strong mediation skills
- Active coach and mentor focused on growing and maximizing team potential; brings high energy and passion to building strong teams
- Ability to build trust and rapport to create a sustainable and effective workplace
- Ability to promote innovative thinking and self‑improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
