Assistant or Associate Professor of Engineering

The Department of Physics and Engineering at Muskingum University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Civil Engineering, starting Fall 2026. We offer an ABET accredited B.S. in Engineering with tracks in civil, general, and mechanical engineering. Appointment type will be based on qualifications.

• Teaching a broad range of undergraduate civil engineering courses and labs.
• Supporting experiential learning through industry partnerships, internships, and capstone projects.
• Collaborating with regional partners to expand engineering pathways for diverse learners.
• Advising students, engaging in research, and contributing to university service.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Undergraduate teaching experience; industry experience preferred.
• B.S. in Engineering from an ABET /EAC-accredited institution preferred.
