About the Position
Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Step down experience preferred License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Excellent communication skills - Expert in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects - High level of respiratory care required, including tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP - Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions - Multitask in critical situations - Experience with end-of-life care/hospice - Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias required Description: This position involves a 12-hour day/night shift. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills for a complex medical oncology population. Step down experience is highly preferred, with ACLS certification also preferred. The role requires expertise in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects. A high level of respiratory care is necessary, including but not limited to tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, and CPAP/BiPAP. Candidates should have the ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and multitask in critical situations. Experience with end-of-life care and hospice is required. Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias is also necessary.
