Job Description

As a Security Officer - Concierge Desk in Springfield, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, managing check-ins, verifying credentials, and supporting access control. You will monitor activity using cameras and/or visitor systems, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with employees and partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and visitor management protocols for a tech-focused location.
• Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary badges as directed, and coordinate guest check-in and check-out with employees and/or tenant representatives.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment as assigned, and document unusual activity in daily logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management, Allied Universal supervision, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Support package and delivery coordination, maintain key control and controlled-area access records as required, and assist with security-related administrative tasks at the reception area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
