Job Position: Soldering

Location: Batavia, OH 45103

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr

Shift: 1st Shift

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling electronic components and working with printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of soldered connections and the overall functionality of electronic devices.

Duties

• Assemble electronic components using hand tools and soldering techniques.

• Perform soldering on surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components.

• Basic understanding of the IPC-A 610 Class 2 standards. Program Machines as required to perform soldering application to ICP-A 610 acceptable standards.

• Utilize tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to measure and verify component specifications.

• Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate assembly according to design specifications.

• Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.

Skills

• Proficient in soldering techniques, including both hand soldering and surface mount technology (SMT).

• Familiarity with electrical concepts and the ability to read schematics effectively.

• Experience using hand tools, calipers, and ohmmeters for precise measurements.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in assembly processes.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus, enhancing your ability to work on complex electronic systems.
