Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain appropriate stock levels for operational materials and supplies used across our facility. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless operations by initiating replenishment activities and monitoring incoming orders to communicate delivery status to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appropriate stock levels for operational materials and supplies used across the facility.
• Initiate replenishment activities to prevent interruptions to workflow.
• Monitor incoming orders and communicate delivery status to internal stakeholders.
• Accept and process incoming materials, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
• Keep inventory records current within internal tracking systems.
• Respond to internal requests by pulling and delivering materials to designated locations.
• Prepare work areas with necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist with organization of storage areas and workstations.
• Support general housekeeping activities including breakdown of packaging and disposal of materials.
• Assist with equipment movement, layout adjustments, and stocking activities as needed.
• Partner with operations and production teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve material flow, organization, or tracking practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at efficiency and accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or related certification preferred.
• Prior experience in inventory, logistics, warehouse, or pharmacy operations is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet or moving throughout the day.
• Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification in a timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic purchasing systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Join a growing company with a laid-back environment. The role requires working hours from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The position involves physical activity, including lifting and being on your feet throughout the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
