Join the Bridge classroom with our fun, inquisitive older two-early three year olds and a tenured lead teacher. Maximum group size is 16 students in a spacious, well equipped classroom. Must be comfortable with changing diapers as we wrap up potty training, a skill mostly completed in the previous classroom.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Teacher include the following:

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Supporting each childs social and emotional development
• Establishing positive and effective family relations
• Working with the classroom teachers and in conjunction with the entire faculty

Qualifications

• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent, prior preschool teaching experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
