Landscape Laborer

Responsibilities
- Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls to maintain clean, attractive landscapes
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass as part of seasonal and ongoing projects
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and appearance
- Remove lawn debris using rakes, shovels, and blowers to keep properties tidy
- Install new landscaping materials as directed by crew leaders
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of trucks and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Interact professionally and courteously with homeowners, clients, and the public
Qualifications
- Ability to operate standard landscaping equipment such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Consistent, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Capable of performing physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation to the Louisville shop or first job site
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and walk long distances during shifts

Work Schedule
- Monday to Saturday, up to 10-hour shifts, with overtime during peak season
- Start times between 7:00 and 8:00 am, depending on the season
- Workday ends when the assigned route is complete (typically 8-10 hours, but may vary)
- Transportation provided from the Louisville shop to job sites; crew members drive or ride in company trucks
- Winter hours vary and are dependent on the snow for timing
