Maintenance Technician
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Wooster, OH
Salary: $32 - $45/Hour
Shift: 5PM - 5AM
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment in our industrial facility. This position involves a mix of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to maintain optimal production levels and minimize downtime. Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Install new equipment and machinery as needed
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and address equipment issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with PLCs and industrial machinery troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs
