Job Summary:The Senior Electrical Engineer leads the design and implementation of complex control systems and automation solutions. In addition to technical delivery, this role provides guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contributes to project leadership through collaboration, planning, and technical oversight. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or controls engineering Required QualificationsSkills: Advanced PLC and HMI programming including but not limited to the following platforms: Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Inductive Automation Ignition and Aveva/Wonderware Intouch/System Platform.Experience in robot and vision system programming including but not limited to the following: Fanuc, ABB, Kawaski, Cognex, Keyence.Ability to read and interpret schematicsAbility to read and write logic in multiple languages such as ladder logic, structured text, sequential function block, function block diagram, VB, python, etc.Programing that is structured, organized, and understandable to the end userAdvanced critical thinking and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to lead project tasks and mentor othersFamiliarity with electrical code and standards including NFPA70 (NEC) and NFPA70E Preferred Qualifications (can be a plus, but not always required): PE licenseProficiency in AutoCAD ElectricalStrong background in control panel designUnderstanding of UL508A, NFPA79, and machine safety requirements
