Varicent ICM Business Systems Analyst

Duration : 12+ months

Location : 100% REMOTE (will work PST hours)

We are seeking a Senior Varicent BA to lead the design and optimization of Varicent ICM solutions supporting large-scale Partner Incentive & Channel Compensation programs.

This role owns system architecture, incentive processing design, data flows, and environment/migration strategy while partnering directly with Varicent Product, Professional Services, Sales Ops, and Finance.

Requirements

• Deep hands‑on experience with Varicent ICM platform configuration & design
• Experience supporting complex partner/channel incentive compensation programs
• Strong understanding of ICM data models, calculation logic, and crediting rules
• Experience designing incentive processing architecture (not just reporting)
• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT, data transformation, and reconciliation processes
• Ability to translate compensation plans into scalable system logic
• Proven experience working cross‑functionally with Sales Ops, Finance, and IT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Varicent ICM solution design and configuration
• Architect incentive calculation workflows and crediting logic
• Define and oversee data transformation, ingestion, and reconciliation strategies
• Design reporting, dashboards, and analytics for executive stakeholders
• Own environment strategy (dev/test/prod) and migration planning
• Partner with Varicent Product & PS teams on enhancements and roadmap alignment
• Document business requirements and convert to scalable technical designs

Nice to Have

• Experience with global compensation programs
• Prior involvement in Varicent upgrades or large‑scale migrations
• Exposure to BI tools or advanced analytics environments
