We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Children Services Ongoing Supervisor to lead and oversee ongoing child welfare services within our organization. Duties

• Supervise and support a team of child welfare caseworkers to ensure delivery of high-quality ongoing services to children and families.
• Oversee case planning, documentation, and compliance with child welfare regulations and policies.
• Conduct regular case reviews to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement intervention strategies.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage families effectively and promote positive behavioral change.
• Manage crisis situations through crisis intervention strategies, ensuring immediate safety for children and staff.
• Collaborate with social workers, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on conflict management, behavioral health issues, and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure adherence to child protective services protocols while maintaining a trauma-informed approach in all interactions.
• Promote a positive team environment by fostering open communication, conflict resolution, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Two years experience as a Children Services worker
• Strong knowledge of child protective services policies, family law, and behavioral health principles.
• Skilled in crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
• Expertise in motivational interviewing and conflict management to facilitate family engagement.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or behavioral health challenges is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex cases effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families in service planning.
