Nursing Operations Manager – $3,400/week – Akron, OH (Contract, Potential Extension)

Pay & Schedule:

• $3,400 per week

• 07:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• Contract: 10/13/2025 – 01/10/2026 (with option to extend up to 1 year)

Position Overview:
This is a leadership role for an experienced nurse who will oversee patient throughput, staffing, and productivity across multiple nursing units. The role manages off-shift nursing supervision, the float pool, and the clinical decision unit. The right candidate will bring strong leadership, collaboration, and process improvement skills, with 24-hour accountability for nursing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling, staffing, acuity, productivity, reporting, and payroll functions

• Oversee Nursing Supervision, Companion Care, and Clinical Decision Unit operations

• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement

• Monitor and manage operational and capital budgets

• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to ensure high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications:

• BSN and MSN, or Master’s in Business/Healthcare -related field

• Current RN license in Ohio

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN)

• At least 5 years of nursing experience, with 2+ years in supervision, management, or hospital logistics

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Comfortable with multiple healthcare systems/software

Preferred:

• Certification in nursing leadership (or ability to obtain within 2 years)

Work Environment:

• Sedentary with occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs)

• Collaboration with a wide range of clinical and administrative staff
