TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: Basic Life Support required; Oncology Nursing Society certification preferred Must-Have: Telemetry interpretation and monitoring experience Description: Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric oncology patients. Caring for all solid tumor cancers throughout their treatment journey. Facilitate care for patients transitioning to end-of-life care. Focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety. Staffing ratios aim for 1:4, but can be adjusted to 1:5 based on unit needs. Variable weekend coverage based on unit requirements. Self-scheduling requests will be considered during final schedule creation. Orientation consists of a week of dayshift followed by on-unit orientation with a preceptor. Must have experience in administering chemotherapy and managing central lines. Knowledge of isolation precautions and fluid management is required. Staff may float to other medical surgical oncology units as necessary. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a supervisory role. Candidates must complete required credentialing processes in a timely manner. Compliance with credentialing requirements is essential for a smooth onboarding process. About Cynet Health
