Leasing Consultant — 476 Taylor Apartments (Columbus, OH) Full-time · On-site · Immediate start · $20–$24/hour base ($60,000–$68,000+/year with bonuses for top performers)
476 Taylor is a 48-unit apartment community in Columbus, currently 80%+ occupied. We are hiring a full-time, on-site Leasing Consultant to drive occupancy to 95%+ and hold it there through new leases and renewals. The leasing office is an on-site model unit.
Responsibilities
- Respond to leads, schedule and conduct showings.
- Take and process applications, run tenant screening, prepare and execute leases, and coordinate move-ins.
- Handle renewals: contact residents ahead of lease expiration, present offers, and complete the paperwork.
- Maintain listings and showing schedules in ShowMojo; keep records current in AppFolio.
- Greet residents at the office, enter maintenance requests, and follow up with them.
- Request Google and other online reviews from residents, prospects, and vendors, and follow up.
Requirements
- Apartment leasing experience required.
- A proven closer with a track record of hitting leasing and occupancy targets.
- Comfortable with AppFolio and ShowMojo.
- Weekend availability.
Schedule: Full-time, ~40 hours/week, Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, plus overtime for later showings.
Compensation: $20–$24/hour base, plus per-lease, renewal, quarterly occupancy, and review bonuses. Top performers realistically earn $60,000–$68,000+ per year.
