Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Facility: General Medicine, 11 East Rhodes Hall
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Weekend Coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required
• Floating: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940-$1990

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Proficient with EPIC charting system
• Skills: IV start, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips (no titration)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Previous travel RN experience preferred

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical conditions
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, initiate IVs, and manage cardiac drips
• Float to various hospital units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy
• Utilize ergonomic equipment, bladder scanners, and EKG machines
• Participate in rapid response/code teams and wound care management
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
