Position Summary:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards through inspections, testing, and data analysis. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects, verifying product specifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and recommending process improvements to ensure consistent product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Verify products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards
- Identify production defects, non-conforming materials, and quality concerns
- Conduct product measurements and testing using precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Calibrate inspection and testing equipment to ensure accurate results
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Analyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issues
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist with internal audits and support compliance with quality management systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Previous experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and testing procedures
- Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality data entry systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO, GMP, or other applicable quality standards is a plus
