Job Summary
The Camera Sort Operator is responsible for operating automated inspection and measurement equipment to ensure products meet all quality standards and specifications. This role supports production by accurately recording inspection data, maintaining equipment, and following established procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate automated inspection equipment, including setup and minor adjustments
· Operate measurement and testing equipment to verify quality requirements
· Record and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) data
· Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written work instructions
· Accurately complete reports, logs, and other required documentation
· Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area
· Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Instructions, and ISO/TS16949 requirements
· Meet quality standards, production schedules, and customer delivery commitments
· Maximize equipment uptime and material yield
· Follow all company policies, safety rules, and environmental regulations
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Good mechanical aptitude
· Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
