Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager Team Lead
- Manage and underwrite a portfolio of complex Commercial Real Estate relationships, supporting Relationship Managers and Credit Administration.
- Independently structure and underwrite CRE loans in accordance with Bank policy, risk appetite, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare, review, and present accurate, timely credit approval packages.
- Monitor maturing and expiring loans, annual reviews, and renewal activity, driving timely completion through nCino.
- Participate in client and prospect meetings to assess financing needs and identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead day-to-day team performance management, including goal setting, ongoing coaching and feedback, mid-year and annual performance reviews, and development planning.
- Provide guidance, review, and quality control for credit work produced by Portfolio Managers, ensuring consistency and adherence to policy.
- Support workflow management and prioritization to meet business, audit, and regulatory deadlines.
- Identify and escalate emerging portfolio risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to collect financial information, coordinate client outreach, and prioritize renewals, modifications, and new credit requests.
- Conduct periodic site visits to maintain familiarity with collateral, properties, and client operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is required.
- Formal credit training is strongly preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate portfolio management and underwriting.
- Prior experience leading a team is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to independently underwrite complex CRE transactions.
- Strong knowledge of credit policy, regulatory requirements, and CRE risk management.
- Must have strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit systems (experience with nCino preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
$92,869.00 - $152,569.00 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
