Payroll Assistant

Snider-Blake is searching for skilled individuals for a Payroll Assistant position for the downtown Cleveland, OH area. This position requires the candidate to have basic computer knowledge, answer phones, input/scan data, and experience with Microsoft Office/Word/Excel. They would be responsible for entering payroll hours, having a high attention to detail, and general data entry.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-Time opportunities, In person only. No remote

Pay: Ranges from $16.26/hr-$22/hr depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process weekly/biweekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Verifiy employee timecards, attendance records, and leave balances
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions in compliance with company policies
• Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes
• Label files appropriately
• Entering data into a database
• Well-spoken/professional

Desired Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience with payroll entry
• Computer Skills
• Customer service skills
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft programs
• Problem-solving skills/ multi-tasking skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
