Basic Machine Operator - 4 Needed

A manufacturing company is offering immediate, full-time positions for Basic Machine Operators who will safely produce quality products per the Process Control Plan and Work Order utilizing machinery, tooling, and measuring equipment supporting Company Objectives for Safety. There are openings on first shift from 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Duties:**

• Produce parts per Process Control Plans and work order instructions
• Ensure you have a thorough understanding of operating assigned machines, tools, and equipment, including safety checks, and start-up procedures
• Communicate quality concerns encountered
• Fill out work orders and other paperwork completely
• Inspect your work as you go, recording measurements as required
• Follow steps to make good parts and keep scrap levels low
• Understand work cell goals and how your effort contributes to meeting them
• Focus on safety and quality while striving to meet work cell goals
• Clean as you go and keep work area clean and free of foreign objects debris
• Pay attention and be conscientious about your assignments and promptly review safety concerns with the supervisor
• **Observe all safety policies and procedures and use assigned Personal Protective Equipment
• **Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Must have basic machine experience
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings is preferred
• Must have oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to pay attention to detail
• Computer skills are preferred
• Must have a solid math and reading skills
• Must have strong manual dexterity
