We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.

Responsibilities:

• Repair automobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
• Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and make necessary adjustments
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
- Proficient in electrical systems, equipment repair, and automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with farm machinery, HVAC systems, air brakes, and schematics is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are building a brand new shop right outside of Conesville. Pay is based on experience starting at $24 and up. Our shop now is air conditioned and we plan to have that at the new shop.
