Construction Project Manager - Electrical

Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000/year (DOE) + Annual Profitability Bonus

Location: Cleveland, OH

Position Type: Direct Hire

How you'll spend your time as a Construction Project Manager - Electrical :

• 50/50 split between estimating and field project management.
• Partner with estimator on initial customer contact, then own the project.
• Purchase materials and manage job budgets.
• Maintain customer relationships throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure field electricians have all information and resources they need.
• Create proposals and design-build documentation (often no drawings provided).
• Track labor and manage change orders.
• Work on diverse projects – from small wires to 23,000-volt substations.
• Handle fire alarm, tele data, and low-voltage work as needed.
• Collaborate with 20 electrical field techs, 20 technology techs, and 15 office staff.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Construction Project Manager - Electrical:

• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code.
• 5+ years of electrical project management experience.
• Comfortable working directly with customers – building managers, owners, universities, hospitals.
• Design-build experience – able to put together projects without existing drawings.
• Proficiency with Accubid, Excel, and Word (Accubid experience is a plus).
• Local Cleveland market knowledge – distributors, hospitals, universities, GCs, and how to navigate the area.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial projects (60/40 mix).
• Comfortable with projects under $2M (most under $500K).
• Bonus skills: Controls, instrumentation, medium voltage, fire alarm, tele data.
