Mow Crew Leader In Training

The Mow Crew Leader In Training position is designed for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for landscaping, and are eager to develop their leadership skills. This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, work with state-of-the-art equipment, and advance toward a crew leader position while ensuring client properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial mowing and landscaping tasks safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail
- Accurately track and record work hours and job details using the Aspire Mobile Application
- Operate and maintain commercial lawn care equipment, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Drive a truck with an enclosed trailer to and from job sites in a safe manner
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing
- Assist with snow plowing and salt truck operation during the winter season
- Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and professionalism on all job sites
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
- Interest in developing leadership skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Non-smoking applicants preferred due to a zero-tolerance policy on client and company properties
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Compensation
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour , paid weekly. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.
