Straight Truck Driver

JOB DETAILS - FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 0900 START TIME. $23/HR, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE
Responsibilities
- Operate straight trucks safely and efficiently for local freight transportation
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while following all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Use provided equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies for loading and unloading cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures to ensure safety on the road and at delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Experience operating straight trucks required.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo as required.
