REMOTE OEM New Business Development Manager
- Establish a broad network of key decision makers, influencers and product creation leads at the specified OEMs.
- Partner with global cross-functional resources to support and manage customers' product design cycle from ideation to prototyping then mass production.
- Execute commercial arrangements with OEMs to ensure value capture throughout the global supply chain.
- Collaborate with regional sales, technical teams, and supply organization to ensure end-to-end support throughout the commercialization process.
- Implement platform, solution, and cross selling at the specified OEMs.
- Regularly communication with global business development and regional sales teams to share best practices, new applications and solutions, key value propositions, with the goal of improving our overall sales effectiveness.
- Prioritize & manage complex, global development pipelines and projects, both internally and externally, to achieve defined goals agreed upon with the OEMs.
- Define, track and communicate key performance indicators for OEM project across various stages of maturity cross multiple functions and departments.
- Continuously scout the business landscape to identify new applications, technologies and OEMs which align with the defined Engineered Polymers strategy.
- Proven track record penetrating large, complex customers and building business relationships which deliver value to both sides.
- High degree of curiosity and drive to understand customer's business, decision making processes, core needs, and product innovation strategy.
- Ability to translate customer needs into the organization and align these with Lubrizol's capability to provide solutions.
- Experience adapting style and approach with diverse, multinational customers.
- Ability to develop new, creative business models and commercial arrangements to maximize value for Lubrizol.
- Strong technical acumen in thermoplastic elastomers, specialty polymers, extrusion, injection molding and/or compounding preferred.
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- High level of self-responsibility and critical thinking
- Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency and well organized
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
- Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of related management experience or commensurate combination of education and experience
