Our current lead dental assistant is leaving dentistry for a career she is passionate about and we support her 100%. She has given us ample time to find her replacement so training will be smooth and stress free.

About the Role

This is not an entry level dental position — it’s a leadership role in a well-established, highly efficient clinical environment.

This position is a great fit for a person who loves using years of dental expertise to make things run like a well-oiled machine. The best candidate keeps the doctor on schedule while making patients feel at home.

Position Details

· Assist chairside using 4-handed approach

· Anticipate doctor needs and maintain schedule flow

· Deliver warm, professional patient experience

· Manage supply ordering, tracking and organization

· Track lab cases and communicate with labs/specialists

· Support team efficiency-jump in whenever needed

Position Requirements (please do not apply if you do not meet the following)

· Professional demeanor

· Strong communication, computer and organization skills

· 5+ years as a chair-side dental assistant

· Current Ohio Radiographer's License

· Experience with dental software (Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft etc.)

· Proactive, team-first mindset

· Driven, motivated, and willing to learn and to find a place of employment they intend to stay at for years.

Compensation

· Hourly Pay : Starting rate at $21/hour, with higher pay based on experience, skill level, and leadership ability

· Bonuses : correlated with performance metrics. Our second location distributed over $40,000 in team bonuses last year.

· Benefits:

o 401K match (after 1 year on the team)

o Flexible unpaid time off available based on role coverage and team needs

o 1 week paid vacation after the first 6 months, 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year. Can accumulate up to 4 weeks of paid vacation depending on years on the team

o 4 paid personal days after 1 year.

o 7 paid holidays if they fall on regularly scheduled workdays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

o $75 per year Uniforms Budget

o Employee receives all dental care free of charge, immediate family receives a 50% discount on all dental care, and predeclared and approved extended family receives a 25% discount. All cases must be approved by the owner doctor before proceeding with the discount.

· Hours

o Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a choice of an unpaid lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM. Fridays off unless extra hours are needed for project completion. No evenings or weekends
