Key Responsibilities- Re-design and modernize obsolete power and electromechanical systems to meet current safety and performance standards
- Perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of power delivery and protection equipment
- Develop and document test procedures, functional specifications, and engineering reports , often without original documentation
- Support or lead failure analysis of electrical and electromechanical components
- Collaborate with drafting and design teams on schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Design and execute test setups for power, protection, and control validation
- Communicate directly with customers and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy and delivery quality
- Grow into project leadership roles aligned with your technical strengths and interests
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Engineering, or related field (required)
- Understanding of:
- Circuit breakers and protective relays
- Three-phase power systems
- Higher voltage and current applications
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting
- Excellent written documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small team environment
- Experience in nuclear, utility, power generation, or other safety-critical industries is a plus
