Entry-Level Design Engineer - GE
A Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines. Job Duties:
- Support equipment design and development
- Design, including concept sketches and layouts
- Preparation of specifications and design calculations
- Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
- Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
- Presenting engineering design review presentations
- BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
- Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by
- design/drafting personnel.
- Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
- Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
- Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
- Experience with NX or other modeling software
- Experience with ANSYS
